Water & Flood Team Leader

Course description

The Water and Flood Team Leader is designed for existing Swiftwater First Responders, Technicians or Swiftwater Flood Rescue Boat Operators who will lead a team of that level at water and floods incidents.

Course Content Includes

Training standards, foundation knowledge, incident size-up, management of river and flood searches, management of rescues from vehicles in water, pre-planning, welfare considerations, weather and flood warning information, local emergency flood plans, team typing and deployment of national assets.

Duration

2 Days (12 contact hours).

Pre-Requisites
