Rescues from Vehicles in Water

Course Description

Designed for both Swiftwater & Flood Rescue Technicians and Swiftwater & Flood Rescue First Responders who may be required to undertake rescues from vehicles in water. The workshop looks at vehicle behaviour and stabilisation in the water as well as access techniques and casualty extrication.

Course Content Includes

Theory of in-water vehicle behaviour and hazard assessment, hands on practical exercises using in-water training, vehicle stabilisation, access techniques, casualty extrication techniques.

Duration

2 Days for Swiftwater & Flood Rescue Technician (Mod 3) or 1 Day for Swiftwater & Flood First Responder (Mod 2)

Location

Pinkston Watersports Centre, Glasgow, Scotland.

Cost

£325 per person.
