Course Description

The Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Boat Operator Instructor (SFRBOI) pathway is designed for rescue professionals who want to teach the full suite of boat classes and includes flat/slow moving water rescue techniques, flood rescue techniques and swiftwater rescue techniques.

Duration

​

The Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Boat Operator Instructor training course is 5 days in total with an extra 3 days required for the assessment and the qualification lasts for two years.

​

​

Menai Straits, North Wales.

Cost

​

£2675 per person. This includes both the 5 day training and the 3 day assessment.

Pre-Requisites

 

Minimum age 18 and must be a confident swimmer. Logged experience of rescue powerboat operations. Swiftwater & Flood Rescue Technician qualified. Swiftwater & Flood Rescue Boat Operator qualified. First aid qualified.
